Walking into a new church can feel intimidating. Here is exactly what your Sabbath with us looks like, with no surprises.
Ebenezer means "stone of help." It is the name Samuel gave to the stone he raised, remembering how faithfully God had carried His people. It is our name and our testimony.
1 Samuel 7:12Ebenezer exists to help people meet Jesus, grow in faith, and belong to a community that feels like home.
We are a Seventh-day Adventist congregation serving Atlanta's French and Haitian communities. From the songs we sing to the meals we share, everything we do is meant to draw people closer to God and to one another.
Whether you were raised in the church or are exploring faith for the very first time, you will find open hearts, open arms, and a place to belong.
The statements our world church family holds in common, and that shape everything we do here in Atlanta.

Make disciples of Jesus Christ who live as His loving witnesses and proclaim to all people the everlasting gospel of the Three Angels’ Messages in preparation for His soon return.

Guided by the Bible and the Holy Spirit, Seventh-day Adventists pursue this mission through Christ-like living, communicating, discipling, teaching, healing, and serving.

In harmony with Bible revelation, Seventh-day Adventists see as the climax of God’s plan the restoration of all His creation to full harmony with His perfect will and righteousness.
The core teachings we hold, drawn from Scripture. A summary is below, and the full document is available to download.

Welcome home. Whatever road brought you to Ebenezer today, I believe with all my heart that it was no accident. God has been drawing you, and you are exactly where you are meant to be.
The name Ebenezer means "stone of help," and it carries our whole story: thus far the Lord has helped us. Through every trial and every triumph, God has been faithful to this family, and that same faithfulness is reaching toward you right now. You do not have to have it all together to belong here. You only have to come.
Here you will find more than a service. You will find a family that will pray with you, weep with you, celebrate with you, and walk beside you. We are a French and Haitian Creole community, but the love of Christ speaks a language that every heart understands. Whether your faith is strong or you are barely holding on, there is grace enough for you at this altar.
So come as you are, and let God do what only He can do. Bring your questions, your burdens, and your hopes. My prayer is that you would not simply visit, but that you would find a home, encounter the living Christ, and discover the beautiful plan He has for your life. We are saving a seat for you. Come and see.
Servants of God who shepherd, pray for, and walk beside this church family.
Our Board of Elders serves alongside the pastor, watching over the spiritual life of the church. They lead worship, visit the sick, counsel and pray with members, and help guide every ministry of Ebenezer. If you need prayer or a listening ear on Sabbath, look for an elder. They are here to serve you.
There is a place for you to grow, to serve, and to build friendships that last.
Three parts of our life together, each with a page of its own.
Wherever you are in life, there is a place here for you to grow, heal, pray, and belong.
